A Little History
II have always been into dance music since the eighties, to be honest
music more generally anything from Shirley Bassey to Metallica.
In fact I did some DJ work for a time which is now a home hobby for me especially on a Saturday night after too many Vodkas.
I decided in the mid nineties that I would like to learn music production
and engineering. Through getting in touch with a guy who owned a studio
in East London I learnt some engineering skills and production.
At the time he was producing a group who were doing a cover of Joe Smooth's
"Promised Land" to which he played the track we were working on.
They group liked it and decided to use it as a remix.
I remember hearing it played on Judge Jules Saturday show back in 1994 and the proud feeling it gave me.
Went to study a BTEC qualification in Music Technology a brand new course at the time. Having passed that I got involved with other producers of different genres. Unfortunately life began to take over and I could no longer chase my ambitions and dreams.
Having to suffer mental health problems such as depression and anxiety I find myself coming back to music production and have found it extremely helpful in coping with life.
Mainly been remixing to acapellas over the last few years, but decided to pluck up courage and share the music I love to produce.
Well I hope you enjoy it and get in touch if you want to know more or maybe get involved some how.
